Tuesday. Dear Mr Carter, Silliman told me about Amon Jr., words are useless but I just want you to know all my heart and hopes are with you. We talk about Amon often and little Amon Silliman Jr. and I refuse to believe any thing could happen to such a fine, sweet, handsome boy. I will never forget our dinner in ENw York. You were so nice to includ Silliman and I. Mr. Carter, I have always felt Amon Jr would be like you, and if the world is robbed of him_ to me it couldn't have a greater loss. Please come to see us. Love, hopes and prayers Lucile Evans
