Mar. 27 '43 Dear Mr. Carter I've wanted to write you for two weeks since I read about Amon. Somehow I felt it was best to wait, I just didn't know what to say. Even now there doesn’t seem to be anything to say. I just want you to know that I believe, as I'm sure you must, that Amon is safe and everything will turn out alright. Please let me know when you hear where he is, I'll be hoping and praying until we know. Sincerely, Jacqueline Hancock
