dc.description.transcription4-28-44[POSTCARD]A/C/ HAYS, J.W. 18242012 CLASS 44F GEORGE FIELD, LAWRENCEVILLE, ILL.Dear Folks,I haven’t enough to tell to warrant the writing of a letter so this card will have to suffice. We haven’t done anything yet except the preliminarys but will start everything with a bang tomorrow. The delay was due to boys coming in at a later time from other basic schools. I did meet my instructor today and was shown the airplane. My instructor seems to be a good Joe but that airplane. It has more gadgets on it than anything I ever saw “even on a cow.”Take care of yourselves and I’ll write when I have something to say.Love, JoeTO: MRS. E.A. HAYS 512 W. MULKEY FT.
