dc.description.transcription | May 3, 1944 Dear Dad, Just received January parcel, really swell, but I don't need any more milk or vitamins. Also 1 cigarette parcels form Katrine form Canada. Lt. Henry and Lt. Poteet both received their first letters this week. I am now living in a new barracks. It is made of cement and is a little chilly but summer will soon be here. Please thank Mr. Bombar and Mrs. Berney for their letters. AM getting along fine. Love, Amon Jr. | |
