December 14, 1944 Dear Katrine, 1500 R Xmas parcels arrived today and everyone is certainly happy. Also received Dad's letter of Oct 31st with pictures of Colonel Drake and Larry Allen. It was the first one in camp and we just sit and stare and it, knowing that these two were once here. Will you look in my desk and send me any pictures you can find? We are all fine and making the best of things. Tell Carl and everyone hello. Merry Xmas, Love, Amon Jr
