Scrapbook: History professor, Dr. Marguerite Potter, assembled this scrapbook detailing her time as the coach for a team of six TCU students that competed in the General Electric "College Bowl" in 1961. The College Bowl, "The varsity sport of the mind," was filmed at the CBS studios in New York City. The TCU team was very successful, and won three rounds beating out DePaul, the University of Buffalo and Upsala College. This book is a vast collection of newspaper clippings, photographs, tickets and programs from events the team attended in NY, letters of congratulations and other memorabilia.
