Mr Sam Bishop Humble Oil & Ref. Co. Midland Texas Dear Sam Would you be interest in re-visiting the locality mentioned in Oscar's letter? I know that you have been there and as I recall from your conversation - the origin of the structure was a bit of a mystery. Oscar is an authority on meteorites and impact sites - He has probably got one of the largest private collections of meteorites in the world. He is not a geologist, but he is intensely interested in meteorites and knows far more than the average geologist about the subject. Let me know if you can join us, and specifically which week ends are open. Best wishes to your wife and baby. Bill Oscar - Yes, i would like to go on some mutually acceptable week end. My good friend Sam Bishop has certainly visited the Spade Ranch structure. He would be one of the best informed geologists in the area - in fact Sam is probably without peer as a surfact geologist - I will drop you a card when I hear from Sam - REgards - Bill
