dc.description.transcription | 609 N. Eola Dr. Orlando. Fla. Oct. 8th 1941.- Mr. O. E. Monnig. 1010 Morningside Dr. Ft. Worth. Texas:- Dear Mr. Monnig:- I received your letter of Sept. 27th. I remember distinctly hearing my husband speak of the meteorite you mention & I think we have a piece of it. I lived in Lampasas several years after my marriage, but I can not give you an information in regard to where the stone was found. I have been away from that town since 1902, and my husband would be ninety-two years old were he living, so you can realize that most of this contemporaries have probably "passed on." I would suggest that you write Mr. Garrett Bierbower, who was a young lawyer in Lampasas where we left the town. I should think the editor of the paper (I don't know his name) or the postmaster might be able to help you. I am sorry I can not help you.- Yours sincerely (Mrs.) Josephine Ramsdell Mrs. Josephine Ramsdell 609 N. Eola Dr Orlando. Fla. | |
