dc.description.transcription(Front and back of one half-sheet.) We are all well or tolerably so. Pete has been sick for two days though I believe he is getting well..there was nothing sirous the mater with him it was an attack of the Billious fever. I am remarkably healthy at present Give my love to all the family and relations and to all enquiring friends. Give Nannie Serena and Mollie my Special regards. With these few badly written lines I remain your (reverse) affectionate brothe Sam. N.B. Tea when you receive this you must write me a long answer Tell all the family that I would be glad to see them.. but it will be a long time I fear before that can be S.B. Love
