dc.description.transcription | (Front and back of one half-sheet.)
We are all well or tolerably so. Pete has
been sick for two days though I believe
he is getting well..there was nothing sirous the
mater with him it was an attack of the
Billious fever. I am remarkably healthy at present
Give my love to all the family and relations
and to all enquiring friends.
Give Nannie Serena and Mollie my
Special regards. With these few
badly written lines I remain your
(reverse)
affectionate brothe Sam.
N.B. Tea when you receive this
you must write me a long answer
Tell all the family that I would
be glad to see them.. but it will
be a long time I fear before that
can be S.B. Love | |
