dc.description.transcription10/30/49 Dear Mr. Carter - The special editions to be forwarded overseas got a quick transfer at La Guardia and left on A.O.A. trip 152 of the 30th at 2:30 PM to arrive London 10:55 PM, London time, on Monday the 31st. Incidentally you and I and Elliott Roosevelt spent Oct 31st, 1942 in London and we had dinner with you at the Savoy. The eiditions for C.R. and Mr. Billingsley have been fowarded downtown. Thanks very much for my own private copy. Its amazing from any angle of its 480 pages and is right in the traidition of how you and Ft Worth handle things. Sincerely, Ted Lewis
