Dear Minnie and Amon, Mother my sister and I thank you for the beautiful stand of orchids, shasta daisies, and red peonies you sent to Daddy - More than the tribute of flowers we appreciate you loving thought - It was all so sudden that on top of being so far away it was a terrific shock - brought mother back with me which is good for us both. Hope you two come out this May before too long - Loads of love to you two - Mamie Doud Eisenhower July 15, 1951.
