May 19 - 52 Dublin Texas Box 37 Mr Amon Carter: Dear Sir - Your letter to Mr Truman was very good. I believe that more people should have done likewise with regards to the Tidelands case for the life of me I can't see where or why they want to take what we have owned some one hundred and forty or fifty years! I have a government of Texas $10.00 note Issued Dec. 7, 1836 by our first president La Marr I wonder if Mr. Truman would want to take those up at compound interest of 10%. More power to you, Repct John A. Burrows
