dc.description.transcription | March 15/40 Mr. Amon G. Carter Fort Worth, Texas My Dear Mr. Carter: Thank you very much for your kindness in arranging for the interview with Mr. Hough. I know how many things called for your attention upon your return to the city and I am deeply grateful for you giving the immediate attention to my request. Mr. Hough was most gracious and although he did not "take" to the radio idea I had he gave suggestions to me to follow and said he would grant me an audition as soon as I had the plan ready. Like thousands of other aspirants, I believe I can make good if given the chance. Again please accept my thanks for your kindness. Most sincerely, Ella May Keith O'Brien | |
