dc.description.transcription	June 14-47 Dear Amon = I was more happy today by the receipt of a box of cigars sent by your good self - Thanks for remembering me in such a substantial manner - I will smoke our [illegible] Sunday and worship your good friendship. As you probably know the Mrs. is an invalid with no hope of recovery - Has nurses every minute in the 24 hours. I roll her aroun din chair, and we stil get enjoyment out of life.
