March 9-55- Dear Amon= Seeing the enclosed advertisement in Time reminds me to get your permission to put in the Ettie Garner Museum + Library the last hat you gave me and brand it as "given to me by my dear friend Amon Carter." Well Amon I am in much better health than I was on my last birthday= it looks like now that I might make it to 93 years= 46 years in office and 46 as a free citizen= I still "strike a blow for liberty" at 5 o'clock out of your bottle if no one is here. But if I have company out of another bottle= I hope you are in good health and easygoing life. Your Friend Jno N Garner
