Paul is taking Guy and me to the races (illegible) day. Darling, this is Ruth's birthday & just as you were not on hand to welcome her 13 years ago tonite, I shore miss you lots. She was so pleased over her cable from Guam & I gave her the lovey little wrist-watch that Aunt Ruth gave me. You are having 12 of her little friends for dinner tonite & Katrine and I will take them to a movie later. Starting Friday nite they (illegible) 3 shows each nite at Casa Manana & the crowds are (illegible). Two women fainted in front of me Friday - the weather is quite warm & I'm praying for it to keep up. Bill Burton & Mimi are in N.Y. together & called up last nite to wish Ruth a happy birthday & to beg me to come to N.Y. But I told Mimi I'd never come again until I could come with you. My cold is about gone, but I'm broken out all over with a rash which Dr. R. says i nerves. He said T.B. was pleased to death with our cheerful letter & it did him heaps of good. Our day is full - Col. Miller wrote such a great letter about him & he has another deocration. I know you've had a great trip , but I'll rest easy when you are back & I can relax - A & M beat us badly - 18-6. Mimi enjoyed hearing from you & she delivered all of your messages. Heaps of love from Ruth & me. Nenetta.
