dc.description.transcription | Monday 21 August 50. Dear Mr Carter, We are visiting here with Mildred's sister - too cold for any good - Temp 43 - be glad to get back to hot Texas. The enclosed wirephoto was clipped from the Omaha World-Herald. We hit a flash flood at Tulsa coming up, Mildred thought it was the end, water 3 feet deep in the city streets, the enclosed clipping gives you an idea. Good luck, best regards, Mildred and Drew; World Herald Omaha Nebraska; Tulsa - 8-17-50 Mildred on hway 75 | |
