| dc.description.transcription | Monday. Dear Amon- Words are not very helpful to me now when I want to express to you my thanks for your wonderful hospitality. I returned to New York Friday night with a full belly and a Shady Oak special on my head. None of us will ever forget your parties and all of the other things you did for us last week. I tried to pay my bills at the club but couldn't even persuade the manager to let me take care of my paire bills which I fear were many. Please let me pay these bills, at best.
