Jan. 30th 1944 Dear Mr Carter: - Your telegram received Saturday afternoon and how glad I was to have some definite news of the situation of our prisoners over there_ I am very grateful to you as I am sure many others are. You certainly have done a great service to so many who have loved ones imprisoned by the Germans. No more letters have arrived from Col. Barron. If they do, I shall let you know. Thanking you so much again I am Always Sincerely Mrs. Gaines J. Barron 3200 Ethel Ave Waco. Texas.
