dc.description.transcription | Clifton Tex Feb. 20. 45 Dear Mr Carter: - Thank you very much for your information, we are so glad for any news we can get. About three or four weeks ago we got a letter from our son dated Dec. 18 2 wees ago we got a card dated Dec 27 and yesterday we got one dated Dec 25 so the mail sure gets here irregular but oh how glad we are to get it even if a little old. I am going to send you the last letter we got. I was so pleased they had as much Christmas spirit as they did, and the picture I am sure you have seen too but in case you haven't I'll enclose it. You may return them some time when convenient. I am like you in thinking surely some of these days the Germans are going to have to give up some of their P.O.W, I got this picture from the Emersons my son is not on there, it was made 1 year ago in Jan. Just before my son got there. Most sincerely Mrs Bergman | |
