Brenham, Texas January 21, 1945 Dear Mr. Carter, I want to thank you for writing and telling me that your son Lt. Carter had written that Lt. Buerger was interned in the same prison camp. I had received word from the War Department October 16. I had a letter from Lt. Buerger yesterday dated December 11 and they were getting along fine. If at any time I have any information of interest from Lt. Buerger, I shall let you know. Again I want to thank you Mr. Carter. Yours truly Mrs. Charlie Buerger.
