dc.description.transcription1003 So. 2nd Lamesa, Tex. March. 4-42. Mr. Amon Carter Ft. Worth, Tex. Dear Mr. Carter, we want to thank you so very much for the news of our son that your office sent us some time ago. We failed to know of your arrival back in the states so this is rather a belated thanks. We want you to know that our hearts go out to you during these hours of uneasiness concerning the news of your son. Our prayers are that he is safe and will some day when these terrible days are over return to you. Sincerely, Mr. & Mrs. W.L. Marr.
