Tuesday. My dear Amon, I noted with extreme regret the article in the paper about Amon Jr. I can not help but feel that our fears will prove to be unfounded and that our All Wise Providence will watch over this (illegible) wonderful boy and before many more weeks (illegible) will know just where he is and why this long silence. This is my fervent prayer in which I am joined by your multitude of friends. Amon may God give you the strength to face whatever comes- and may this precious boy be safe, Iillegible) and my God return him to you safe and unharmed and with confidenct and (illegible) Always Leana
