Dear Amon- I think of you so often each day and wish there was some way I could help in these days of watchful waiting for further news of young Amon. To me you have been wonderful all through this war, carrying on as usual with courage and fortitude. There is such a good chance of better news for I understand several thousand men have been taken prisoner. We hope to see you soon and I do want you to know you have my understanding and sincere love Elsie.
