Tuesday- Dear Mr. Carter: Letter from Sidney today dated March 10th in which he says how terrible he feels about Amon, Jr. and he's hoping and praying with us that we should just sit and wait. So you see, he's very hopeful. And with the good progress that was made recently over there, I'm hoping for good news. I thought I heard Walter Winchell state last Sunday nite that a group of prisoners got back to our ranks, but I've had no one verify that. Mother & Daddy weren't listening to the program, and I don't know whether I got it right or not. I want to know how you are - been wanting to call, but I always disturb you - and I don't know what to say to you. Wish you could be here with me a little while. Please come as soon as you can- You're always in my thoughts. I pray for Amon, Jrs. welare as I do for my own Sidney's. Lovingly, Jane
