Graham, Tex. Dec 4 1925 P.O. Box 572 Mr. A. G. Carter Fort Worth Tax Dear Mr. Carter: It was with a great degree of interest and pleasure that I read your reply to the governor's request for your resignation as chairman of the schoolboard and being a publisher of the Star Telegram and also of the NY World Times enclosing a clipping from the NY world editorial section of Nov. 30th (illegible). I am and have been an oil worker here in Texas for the last 5 years and I hardily agree with the (World) writer who states that "it uses state money to encourage the drawing of a class line in justice" and "(illegible) bootlegging by a poor man (meaning me) is less important than by a rich man." Why should I pay $10.00 per gallon for good corn liquor when I can make myself for about a $1.25 per gallon run no chance of being (illegible). Mrs. Ferguson whole administration has been one big glorious bust and my only complaint regarding the papers you publish is that you have not jumped on her with both feet before this. yours truly P. R. Adamson
