dc.description.transcriptionMay 6, 1944 Dear Dad, Please thank the following for letters: WE Smiths, Mrs. Travis, Mr. Bratten, Mr. Shuman, Mr. Graves, Mabel, and Mrs. Dorfer of Fort Worth. Had 3 from Flem Hall Last week. Have had 40 of your letters, latest one Feb 26th. Have had March and April 30c airmail also. After June 15th, please get in touch with Mrs. NJ Meadows Pop, Alabama. It might be best if you go and see her. I am getting along fine and now weigh 160 lbs. Love Amon Jr.
