November 22, 1944 Dear Bertice, Received two of your swell letters last week. Am getting along fine, but would lots rather be in Huntsville, Texas. They certainly have an easy life there and don't realize how lucky they are. I have learned a lot in the last 3 years though, We now have over 80 Texas here out of a total of 1060, with more arriving all the time. Have a Merry Xmas, but don't celebrate too much. Love, Amon Jr.
