dc.description.transcriptionDear Amon: My heart ached for you when I heard your son was missing in action and I deferred writing you until more was known - I understand know he is a prisoner in Germany and even though that is bad it is wonderful to know he is safe - I am happpy along with you to know he is alive and safe. I ahve two boys in the air corps, one army, one nay, and I know the always anxious,day we constantly pass through cordially, Vernon Taylor
