dc.description.transcription | Jan 1 43 517 Vane St Taylor, Texas Dear Mr. Carter, On receipt of a letter from my husband, Dan C. Carlisle, a prisoner of war in Germany. He asked me to write to Amon Carter and find out what I can send to him - how much. Ask for the following articles to be included in a large package - heavy sacks, pajamas, wool sea cap, cross rifles, Razor blades. Combat jacket or field jacket also some warm gloves.
