dc.description.transcriptionJan 1 43 517 Vane St Taylor, Texas Dear Mr. Carter, On receipt of a letter from my husband, Dan C. Carlisle, a prisoner of war in Germany. He asked me to write to Amon Carter and find out what I can send to him - how much. Ask for the following articles to be included in a large package - heavy sacks, pajamas, wool sea cap, cross rifles, Razor blades. Combat jacket or field jacket also some warm gloves. Is it possible to send that Iarge of a package? at one time?Any information you can give me will be appreciated. Sincerely, Janet Carlisle
