Worth Texas Dear Mr. Carter, Thanks for the copy of you telegram from Senator Connally. From the news broadcast and news paper I have hopes of hearing all the boys have been liberated- that each in Oflag 64. Monday I received three letters from Ivan, December 18th, on Christams Day and the last on December 31st. He told of receiving the Red Cross Christmas packages. He said the thought he would have sending for a hobby when he got back to the States. Fro mthe tone of these letters Ivan seemed in fine spirits and said they were all fine. Let's continue to hope and pray that they will soon be home with us again. Sincerely , Mrs. Ivan Carlise | |
