October 31, 1944 Dear Katrine, Received my May Food Parcel yesterday. You can't imagine how much it means since we are out of RC Food Parcels. Keeping sending Nescafe and lots of spices, but no more salt or powdered milk, unless its Kraft whole milk. All the new officers sleep with their clothes on. Can't understand why US blankets and overcoats haven't arrived. Have Dad's Sept 8th letter and you August 26th.Can you send me air photo of house and farm? Love to everyone. Don't worry because I am ok. Love, Amon, Jr. PS can you send some powdered eggs?
