Dear Mr. Carter: Your letter of July 19 has just arrived. More than glad to hear from you and to read Amon Jr.'s letter. Pleae ive him my best - we can write direct from here. Weren't in this last business but expect to be in thenext. Since Pete left I've been in cowwardered so I'm rather anxious on several points. We are in good shape and really well rested and anxious to get back to work. The news is still good and I hope it will continue to be. Please give my regards to any of our bunch you happen to see. Thanks again for your letter. Yours, Lewis Hightower
