dc.description.transcription | 1/26/44 Dear Mrs. Deakins I've been home since January 15th for a week or two (vacation) and thought, perhaps, ou'd written to me at Frankfort? Have any of you had word from Amon Jr. lately? Believe I told you that I rec'd a card Dec 20th in which he stated that 15 of my letters had reached him- met a preicous girl (who is visting here) from Texas today, She knew Amon Jr. lives at some small town near Ft.
