Dear Mrs. Deakins - Just a note, written here at school, to let you know that I received a card yesterday from Amon Jr. It was dated Dec 28th and on it he said that he spent most of the time tring to keep busy. Also, that he'd rec'd 44 letters from me - that's such a few to the number I've written but I'm thankful he's receid some anyway. His last sentence was " I'll be in Ky. soon." So here' shoping that soon, he care be celebrated, it he hasn't already. Am terribly busy but htought perhaps it would give you all some comfort you're probably heard by now to. Do hope so. Sincerely, Marg Harding
