| dc.description.transcription | Dear Amon, Got your letters and was certainly glad to hear form you. Know you are really having the time of your life over there. Wish the hell they would send me over sometime soon. Gues you really have been seeing the place often moving and alas living with your dad. I was to see him when he gets back so he can tell me more about what's going on. I got to see your mother every now and then also Katrine. They are both fine except worry a lot about you as all mothers do I guess. I was in a pretty bad plane crash not long ago but was very lucky not to have gotten hurt too much - it was some expansion and glad it doesn't happen ever day. We tore the plane all aprate last both engines , landing gears, wing s too. Really was not much to look at. I was flying it, just riding just riding her, you hsould really be glad you and not seeing Ft. Worth as it is today. I can fly from Calif. going through Ft. Worth and it is not the same old place. Amy is about to get Frank Thompson he is really worried about going in. I see quite a few kids from the University and they all ask you you - you certaintly knew a lot of people down there seems every day I see someone that knows you and wants to know where you are. The girls in Washington are many but not very good looking. In fact, they are for the most part awful! I may get over to see you soon and I feel sure that John will- he is still in Mass. Drop me a line and want to wish uyou a Merry Christmas and Happy new year, better late than never, hope we are all together next Xmas, nothing like a letter wishiful thinking. Your Pal, Arthur | |
