dc.description.transcriptionDear Mr. Carter, Brooks has been returned to the US and is at MC Closky Hospital in Temple now. He was wounded last January you know if Africa. We don't know how lon g he will have to stay there but expect to be released in a few weeks anyways she a furlough! And we surley hope to see you. Brooks has plents of Wild tales to tell about the boys in Africa which I am sure would enjoy. How about getting that nice secretary of yours to drop us a card? Sincerely, The Martins
