Little sister kept mamma awake so much last night that she did not get up soon this morning we had ham, gravy biscuit butter currents tea nice white dried apples for breakfast Carlie and little sister got up in time to eat with us this morning they don’t often wake in time to eat when we do. I said for it is easier for a camelto go through a needles eye than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God for my verse Carlie said if ye love me keep my commandments. Me and brother washed up the dishes then went to town after some Pot ash for little sister and Carlie We got a stickof wax too and Dr McGarglry gave Carlie half a stick. We stopped at Aunt Alice to take her some eggs. Brother sells 25 ct worth of eggs every week. I am going directly to fixour dinner, mamma cooks enough a morning to last all day. After we get through eating dinner we will all take a nap. It is brothers time to go to the office, I think we will get a letter from you. We have not had one in so long give my love to Aunt Minnie, the children send their love to you your affectionate daughter Jessie Clark
