dc.description.transcriptionJune 28, 82.Dear Papa,I have just come from the Office and we feel very much disappointed in not hearing from you so I thought I would write you a few lines and send it with mamas. Mr. Davis wants us to go home with him we would like to go if we had someone here to take care ofhome. I think it would be so nice to go up there and stay a while. We got our cards from last week from Mr. PoeI think they were very pretty brother was number five. Uncle Jesse is going to start to Bonham Monday and then we will be so lonesome we haven’t had any more money for the orphans yet except three dollars and thirty ct fromaldy in Commanche.Mr. McBridehas just called in to see if we were going home with him and to tell us goodby I will stop now. Jessie ClarkI will have to fill Sisters paper, the children are trying very hard to be good. They don’t like the idea of getting a B. Brother Wilmethis going to start with his folks tomorrow,he aims to get to Fort Worth by the time of the State meeting, will preach near Brother Bellsseveral days.Commencing Fryday, I am anxious to hear what you are doing, hope you are having a good meeting. have had no rain yet every thing is burning up very fast.
