Sunday Apr. 29th My Dear Amon, Was just reading the news and saw the announcment that your dear son Amon Jr. is still safe, as a prisoner of the Germans! Marinna(?) is over here with me this weekend and we have been thinking of you and Amon Jr. so much lately, wondering how he would find conditions abroad. Particularly in relation to Amon Jr's reports - Will be so anxious to talk with you upon your return to Texas, so I hope it is not long before we will have that pleasure. Our prayers and best wishes are with you both at all times Amon. Most sincerely yours, Imogene S. Eagon
