dc.description.transcriptionDear Mr. Carter, We want to rejoice with you over the good news of your son Amon. Ray j is in wonderful spirits and has gained forty odd pounds since his escape. He is quite happy and is to be (?) May 12th. He will report at Miami Floria June 22nd for re-assignment. We are so happy for you and (?) and know from experience, (?) feelings at this time, for the anxiously awaited the return of Roy (?) to the states which was Arpil 6th. Here's hoping the war will soon end and our other son (?) (who is in Belgium) and all of our American boys can return Home. Thanks for your courtesies, we have appreciated all information.
