Mineral Wells, Tex. Jan. 27, 1931. Mr. Amon G. Carter, Ft. Worth, Tex. My dear Mr. Carter, Mr. Barber told me that you stated to him by phone that you thought the Will Rogers party would arrive in Mineral Wells, Sat. even. Would you be so kind as to give me a little more information inasmuch as the Federation of Womens Clubs sponsors his appearance. Kindly give me the personnel of his party if you can without too much trouble. Also tell me the members on the program. We just received a wire from the Will Rogers management asking for a Steinway piano for the stage. I would appreciate this information very much as it would make our plans more complete. Yours very sincerly, (Miss) Tippora English Pres. City Fed. & Gen. Chmn. Will Rogers Arrangements Board
