Port Headquarters APO #507 c/o Postmaster New York, New York. April 11, 1943. Dear Mr. Carter: airmail from Mrs. Sibley has just informed me of your great misfortune. I am terribly sorry for you and sincerely hope that your have received some definite news by this item. Life here hoes on about the same as when you were with me. We finished up our work for that show and according to the agents everything is well on the road to unite "fines" to that chapter. Mrs. Sibley was most thrilled with your cable and I certainly want to thank you for including my name. She joins me in extending to you our heartfelt sympathy. Sincerely yours, Cleland G. Sibley
