dc.description.transcriptionDear Sir: I have noticed several articles in the paper recently about your son. The latest was the news of him being a prisoner. Also that he was an artillery officer. I have a son in law in North Africa we haven't heard form since the 14th of February. He is also in the Artillery and I was wondering if by comparing notes we could find something about him. He is Luearl B. Kinneard Private Co B 7th FA Ban The APO no was one. He was drafted here last May. Trained for two months at Fort Sill. Okla. spent three weeks at Indiantown Gap PA and was in England by the 15th of August. Soon after the Americans want to N. Africa we heard from him regularly until lately and the last letter came the 14th of February. We haven't received any official notice of anything happening to him but are just worried. Would you mind writing me you son's company and how you have found more about where he is. I have a son at AM a senior He is a Cadet Captain this year and is in the Army since March 22. He will report to Fort Bennig. GA in May Drummon Glover at Texas Christian is my oldest son and will report to the Marines in June. I have a daughter, Adell Slover a student nurse, at the city County hospital. The girl whose husband I am asking a bout. is home with me and working at the Southland paper mills and I have been in the County Clerk's office for several years. I sincerely hope and pray our sons will soon be returned to us. yours, Mrs. Pauline, Slover
