Wills Point Texas, June 3, 1944. Mr. Amon G. Carter, Fort Worth Texas. Dear Mr. Carter, In regard to your letter of May 29th I wish to express my deep appreciation for the news conveyed to me. As yet I haven't been able to make any contact with my nephew. But am working diligently toward this point. As you have been so kind thus far would you tell your son to tell Loyd "we are well here and will write as soon as we can" For you son Amon Jr., my nephew and all others may they soon be home again with us in my prayer. Thanking you again and again, Mr. Carter. I am, Mrs. W.B. Sims
