March 20, 1945. Fort Worth Texas. Kind sir, I want to thank you very much for your letter on March 13, 45 telling me that my husband, Lt. Ernes A. Schulback is in the same camp with Amon Jr. I had not been notified as to what camp my husband is or was in I am hoping that both Amon Jr and Ernest are on their way home by now. I know that both you and I would be two very happy people. I knew Amon Jr long before he went to the army. I also know Ruth and your two nieces Mr. Steffens and Blacke. If it wouldn't be asking too much ,the next time you write Amon Jr, could you mention to him and maybe he could notify my husband that we have a little baby girl. She was born March 4th, 45. Thanking you for your kind letter I remain Mrs. Ernest A Schulbach 2936 James Ave.
