Brownwood Texas April 15, 1943 Dear Mr Carter: I have been reading about your son, and heard last night that you heard he was a prisoner of war in Germany. My nephew was reported missing in action in North Africa on February 14 and I feel sure that he was with your son. Will you please tell me how I can get any information about him. or to whom I should go to try. He is P.FC. Robert W. Stewart #6959973. He sailed for oversea duty August 26 last year. You can understand how anxious we are to get any word from him, and feel that you can tell us how we may accomplish this. His mother is a widow, and this is her only son. Hope to hear from you soon Respt. Mrs Wesley Wilson 507 Beauer Street Brownwood Texas
