May 21 Dear Lt. Carter - Last night I heard on the air that you are to arrive in Fort Worth tomorrow - I am so glad for ou that you are getting home. I'm sure you will be very busy with your family and friends, but if you could possible have time and could give me any news of my son Captain Charles Wilkinson will you please do so? The last letter or news of any kind that I've had from him was a letter written on Jan 7. from the camp Oflag 64. before you were started on the horrible walk into Germany. Was he sent on to the same camp with you? had you seen him and was he well? I should be so very grateful for any news you could give me. Thanking you, I am Very Sincerely Mrs Charlie Wilkinson
