dc.description.transcription | Dublin, Texas 10-12.44 Mr K. Deakins Dear, Sir I rec'd the pictures yesterday and you have no idea how proud I was to get them, when I open them up there was my precious Boy staring at me. I had to cry awhile & then I rejoiced to see how well they were clothed. That's my Boy on the left in the front row Standing by the little man with the mustache & then that's him Standing beside the casket the first on the left. Mr Deakins I want to have these developed I want to send my two girls one of each I'll send them back just as soon as I can get them back. Thanks so very much for sending them. I'ts friends like you that makes life possible for mothers like me to carry on. Mr Carter's Son looks so healthy & fine. My Boy was never very heavy. He looks like he had lost some weight but I havent seen Him in over three years, Time ages anyone, And he has gone through enough the four years He's been in the army to cause Him to look older - Yours Truely Mrs. A.
