Claremore Okla Oct 9 - 1935 Mr Amon Carter Fort Worth Star Telegram Fort Worth, Texas Dear Sir: I have been requested by Mr G D Davis and other prominent citizens of Claremore to submit to you a copy of "He'll Be There," an humble effort of mine to honor and perpetuate the memory of one whom I have always loved and admired from a distance. I am in no way related so far as I know though I bear the same name. This is my first publication and while I have no anticipation of writing another, I trust you will find it merits your suport to the extent that you will help in placing it before the public so that everyone may enjoy the sentiment of the song and the assurance that we will again meet Will Rogers at the final round up. Thanking you I am Very truly yours, Roy R. Rogers.
